The Eternal City

March 8, 2011

rome italy

Since I’m headed to Rome for the last time, tomorrow. I decided I’d make another post of my adventure in it a few weeks back.

Although I took pictures of the surrounding sites, most of my pictures were taken in the chilly corridors and long halls of the Vatican Museum and St. Peter’s Basilica. I couldn’t stop snapping pictures of all the art. So much art.

Truly, if you haven’t seen the Eternal City, you need to go.

The entire place is chalked-full of buildings that look more like paintings and less like the common construction site. Having said that, you’ll probably run out of camera space as there are loads of photo opportunities.

I’m sure I’ll get one more post out just about Rome before my Italy documentary is through.
