Personality in a Typeface

It’s the aesthetic characteristics that get me. As a novice exploring the realm of typefaces, I have much to learn, but I’ll tell you that every change in a font’s weight, curve and color has got me hooked.

I stumbled upon a blog that explained how it is that typefaces have personality, here. From my reading I ended up finding another addicting site by the name of Hoefler & Frere-Jones. Their site is full of customized typefaces that only the best of the best use.

For me, it just took a quick glimpse of a font like Numbers, and I was in love.
